I installed a new MSD coil and the plug wires are 8.5mm. The boots that seal the box just don't fit around the larger wires. I opened them up a little bit, but it's just not going to seal well this way. Can I put a little 5200 there? Maybe just some silicone?

Im going to swap in a new grate tonight. Anyone have a particular preference as far as silicone goes? Does it need to be "marine grade?" i.e. "expensive grade?"

I can't get the e-box open on my sj. The mounting brackets that cover the last two screws will NOT budge. I can't totally tell, but it almost looks like the mounting bolts have been epoxied. I'm tempted to cut the brackets to get to the screws, but that doesn't solve the frozen bolt problem...

How high above the bondline (waterline) should I have a bilge outlet? I guess its really not critical, but I assume as low as possible. Any strong opinions?
