Thats correct. Why go through with a paint job just to accidentally get some resin on it....or even worse, you will be working with sandpaper/power tools.....
I got to see Pat's ski, and others Tem built, in Havasu as well. Craftsmanship is excellent and Tem is a pretty stand up guy too, great combo with X Scream.
Or you could just get a Boyesen manifold...it requires less labor than the R&D. Get 46's and have Chuck work his magic. Also go to a Limited chamber and set your FCV at 3 1/2-4lbs of popoff.
Its not so much the classes, its the structure of Freestyle period....to include judging. IMO (and quite a few others I've spoken with about this) there should be much more structure to the routines and not just a free-for-all, a required trick list if you will. Don't get me wrong, I believe...
