Daytona is the only spot on the east coast I know of that you can launch in the surf. I almost craped when the beach patrol came over the loud speaker & annouced for the surfers to clear the ride zone. It's a nice luxury:cool:
Yup... Surfers always get the best breaks and it does'nt matter who was there first they get the right of way:sad: The only times I ride the better spots is when I get up earlier than them:veryhappy:
Me & Wavehog were ridding Atlantic City one day when a surfing event was going on. There are...
Hey Brent... What time do you think you guys will be ridding until on Sat??? I had to book work for Sat but can make it later & Sun.
Also the bar across from your hotel is Caroline's.
Hey Goose... I've widened my ski & really like how it handles. It make my ski way positive to my weight transfer and adds a new element to how the ski turns in & out. It rides higher in the water and it's easy to make slide when I want and it's does'nt hook a rail & high side like it did befor...
Cool!!! More options... Thanks
I'm thinking shorter wheelbase, tighter turning radius. I'm also wondering if moving the weight of the pump forward & towards the center will bring my nose down a little.
I'm more than curious how this ski handles. It has some shape which I think is good but think it's designed for straight line stabilty more like a big wave gun than a freestyle board.
I've got a winter project in mind. I'd like to move my pump & inlet forward and I'm curious if there is anywhere to have my shaft cut down.
Alternatively does anyone know if there are any shafts that fit an SJ pump @ 3 in. shorter. I know the FX1 is @ 1 in. but I want more.
It's about time they made some changes. I think it looks like fun. I'm curious how long it will take befor the aftermarket makes a copy of this bottom. I'm also curious if blowsion is crying copyright on the sponson shape:01:
There are some pics in Wavehog & Special fx's ski builds on their FX1's.
