I realize after last weekend that a watertight boat should be a concern to you:silly: I like a scupper for rinsing off too... I know bilges will pump the water out but not all of it. How about using a duckbill style drain that dumps in the pump:dunno:

I think its also important to keep your ski on a rail with your weight inside the wave on take off & landing. When landing weight forward & your ski bottom flat you'll find the bottom quick. I can land good size airs nose down in little or no water.

I got stuck swiming on the inside on a big day with my helmet on & almost drowned. The only time I've worn it since is Daytona.
