while splitting the deck from the hull sounds really easy, trust me, it wont be. besides, this doesnt have stringers on the hull.... that explains the weak hull. why does YOUR boat need glass? what did you do?

take the flame arrestor off and put your hand (or a rag) on top of each carb and crank the starter briefly once or twice. when you remove the rags, there should be fuel visible when you remove the rags. make sure you dont have the feed and return reversed on the carbs (obviously).

have you tried cranking while cupping the tops of the carbs for a second or 2 to see if fuel rushes into the carb bores?

any kawi chopping that i do with a sawzall is done with malice, evil and ill intent. im talking about something a little different here.

thats what i figured would be the best type of cut... only on the bottom, then curving back to stock as you go up the side of the pump cavity.
