Thanks Pat.
Got the Blowsion one way valve cut out and ready to go. Just got a bunch of fiberglass cloth from Brian, so I will be reinforcing soon. Then I can finish my one way valve install, and start cutting the light poly foam.
well, I started cutting into it today... like I said, I'll be taking my time on this build because I am still working on my beach house and I keep glassing up my orange ski to make her last. Anyway, I cut out the footholds and will cut the tray out next week so I can remove all the perfectly...
Gotta say, DJ, you did a killer job of capturing this freeride. Hard to believe there was even any riding with all the partying that was going on... LOL
Great video bro!!!
I talked to a few guys who hated it for surf... then tried to sell me something else (staying vague for a reason). Then I talked to a few guys who loved the hull in surf once they made a few mods... Tubby Destroyers, cut the rear bondline, etc... Beyond that, I haven't had a new hull since...
Thanks guys... probably going to delay the build until after Daytona... I'm continueing to repair my orange boat for now... I'm just way too busy working on my beach house to work on my new ski...
Here's what she looks like now, after the hood and line broke apart (from a 15' pancake)...
oh hell yeah... we had an absolute blast today... about 10 riders in all... so much fun. Oh, and I pulled my 1st backflips today... landed 3 pancaked 1. Good times!
hit it guys... just came back from checking all of the good ride spots here... so far sturgeon point is off the hoo... 8' - 10' semi clean with decent intervals... right outside the marina... looks like everyone on Lake Erie can get in on this action.
