I haven't ridden the new hull yet, I'm still patching my '98 until it's broken in half. I do have tubbies on my '98 and love them. helps to keep the nose up a bit when surf slashing.

I bought a set of Blowsion Tubby Destroyers for my '08 hull based on feedback from some riders on the X. Look at Ross Champion's old ski (the one he's selling now)... it's what he was running, and was killing it in the surf.

hell yeah! Have one my my current ski, and will be getting another one of the winter for my new build winter project. It's super strong too... been plugged into the stand bar really hard, and I've even hit bottom in a shale bed area...

I put a top/bottom clamshell carbon fiber piece made by Taylor Curtis on my 2001 Superjet - worked well... strong. Nose of my ski was pretty much destroyed, so I used this to reconstruct it... the damage went up pretty far, so I turfed quite a bit of the nose. pics 3 - 5. I put a top only...
