I set the new Blowsion Tubby Destroyers in place... which I plan to install next... holy cow between the build in stock tubbies, the narrow transom of the new style hull, and the destroyers... wow this hull is wild!
Thanks Jake. A few more - transom plates are epoxied on... gotta clean up for a wedding reception tonight. Tomorrow I'll be doing more.
the last pic is an inside hull shot with the transom plates in place.
got the plugs made up and epoxied in place. Used panel fusor EZ101 fast set (@180 degrees). Headed back out now to epoxy the transom panels in place.
I also cut the rear bond line off, as I did on my other ski.

I'm 41 and finally pulled and landed my first backflips last fall... (4 really nice ones by the way). Anyway, now that I have finally done that, I've realized they are much easier than I thought... just had to nut up to do them.
Having said that, I'd prefer to watch a rider with sick surf...
little bit more shop time today... finished cutting and shaping... mocked up some cloth. Next weekend I'll put it all together so she's ready for the exhaust tube, blowsion vavle and foam.

yeah, i've heard good things... your build, Eroks etc... I can't wait to ride it. Should be interesting being a new style SJ, destoryers, pump already set back, and shortened.

The brown one was rescued by sheriff's helo off the ice flow of Lake Erie last spring, two weeks late she picked a fight with several Coyotes crossing through my back yard... she inflicted some serious damage on a few before getting some damage of her own.

i will always cut the lip off of mine... but i didn't stop at the back, i cut part of each side as well (towards the back). breaks free better and slashes better in surf.
i wouldn't even worry about rebuilding your ski bro... just go for a back flip. having a beatup ass ski made it easier for me to start flippin. ya just don't care as much about how your ski looks. = )
