I was actually at west marine looking at these to day for my son and I. we have a big one for the pod on the boat, but it's not something you would carry on a ski. SPOT. hat a unit on sale right now for $99 with a $50 mail in rebate. and the ACR unit sells for 260

I do. I've personally seen 3 skis get smashed to pieces on the jetty there in rough seas. All it takes is a couple seconds after a stall to find yourself on the rocks. If they found a hood and a helmet, its not a good sign. The current could have swept him halfway to wisconsin or chicago by now...

smashed the pump to pieces hitting bottom. I was in Hollywood over the weekend and some one threw one of my long lost octanes into the back of my suburban while I was down there. I also got the new pump for the vision. Woot I have two skis again! one more and I'll be back to full strength.
