I agree, if a motor is built correctly it should last a long time. The only things that kill motors are human error and fatigue.

When sleeves are replaced incorrectly they can drop once the motor heats up and that causes alot of problems. Bad tuning and tired parts will also kill a motor.

My Hull will be in Daytona this year but unfortunatly I will not.. Sara is having sinus surgery just before and from what I hear she will need me around because it is pretty painful. Every one will be able to see the quality of the boat. It is Top Notch. More pics to come please be patient.

You can wetsand it with 800, compound, then wax.

It could only be an issue if it was an Exact copy which none of the aftermarket builders have. Nick, the top deck is going to be made of mostly carbon with some glass. It should be out of the mold by tommrow 12/12 so pictures will be up shortly.

Well, Steve claming his hood is the strongest on the market when none are even built yet is about as valid as "someone else" claming their motors make 160hp at 2500 rpm. :thumbsdown: :261: does a 5mm crank have to do with anything?
