Superjet idles great but has no power

Bad reeds will defiantly cause this, to check the reeds remove the flame arrestor top cover and the flame arrestor screen, crank the ski. with the ski running place your hand over the carb a few inches away from it , now rev the engine, do you feel any pressure coming back up through the carbs...

Super Jet Super jet no crank electrical issue

The Yamaha start stop switch is quite complex, it's actually two switches, the start switch and the lanyard switch, it is usually the lanyard switch that screws up, on a sit-down you can unplug the switch at the front, I honestly don't remember if you can on a Superjet but if you can unplug it ...

Super Jet Super jet no crank electrical issue

If you have the electrical box open already you can simply disconnect the red wire on the solenoid that goes to the start switch, touch that to positive solenoid post , this is the cable coming from the battery, that will actuate the starter solenoid if it is good, if it works now you know your...

The FBI needs to be shut down

There has been massive pushback even by Democrats about the $600.00 threshold and about the $600.00 deposit fiasco, I would look for that to change in the near future. For one thing the IRS is not set up to handle all the additional paperwork that this will entail. By doing this Biden has taxed...

You know what Bird I am sure no love is lost between you two but I have heard a few unflattering things about you as well, so I will leave it at that. I am not running the guy for public office, either what he posted has merit or it doesn't . The bottom line here is people bring him skis...

In line external mukuni DF62 fuel pump verses internal carburetor fuel pump for a GP 1200.

I assure the carbs do not know the difference between three pulses and one, either the fuel pressure is high enough or it isn't, I am not sure how many times or in how many ways this can be stated in this thread, if you want to know for sure check it.

What signal is this that you keep referring to the fuel pump sends fuel to the carbs that's its function, and signal is in the carb itself and refers to it's ability to draw fuel into the jets, vacuum is another way to put it, signal can be and I guess in this case is very misleading. '

Skat Trak closing its PWC Line of products

Gordon at PJS bought a lot of the Westcoast and PJS molds, he has guys that could make the impellers but he may be stretched too thin already.

By having it jetted properly. lean conditions cause backfires, the restrictors are built into the carb bodies unless they have been drilled out, if you drill them out then you use a restrictor in the return line.

Crank torsion Ing is a real issue and occurs on skis with heavy pump loading and big hulls, you would rarely if ever see it on a triple mounted in a standup or a Blaster, on something like say Yamaha SUV or an XLT 1200 it becomes a real issue because of the size and weight of the hull and the...

You can't really , Yamaha did it by changing the position of the pickup on the case.

No I run the three internal pumps but decrease popoff and drill the restrictors out of the carbs. A good backfire will blow the rear crank seal right out of the crankcase.

On an 1100 it happens when the rear crank seal goes out , I have seen that a few times, you ask how often it happens, on stock machines it happens quite often on 1200's , usually the plastic check valves in the fuel pumps get creased of crinkled and it causes an issue with one cylinder running...

Then yes you need to rejet and change the popoff pressure and possibly the needle and seats, to be very basic the small needle and seats work with high restriction and high popoff pressures, once you change to low restriction flame arrestors you need bigger needle and seats , bigger jets and...
