I know most people just measure the exiting temp at the pissers by hand (120 degrees should burn after a few seconds). Has anyone found an easy to use thermometer to make this process more precise? I can't find one that measures that range.

That's what I'm thinking too. I was just considering July to avoid the school schedule.

The only think is, I've heard "there is no surf in July at Pismo". Of course, I've only heard this once and I'm not from there, so I have no idea. It may be that the surf is just not as big as it get in October (which was plenty for me) and that a small surf day in July at Pismo is still...
