I have a similar one rated for 500 lbs as well. And I had to do alot of welding to brace it up so it would actually be able to carry my 240 lbs superjet. I also had to create a second receiver so the rack didn't wabble.

I think that plate is designed for the extended trim that XFT sells. If you bought it from XFT, Sergio will prolly refund it and hook you up with the right plate! Dan

Just make sure it is either above the waterline or you run it in a hose that at some point is above the waterline or else the water will flow right into the waterbox. I have a single exit up front on the top deck. Works AWESOME!
