My 440 sparks for 2 seconds each time you hit the start button then does not spark???? coil? stator? Thanks, Dan

What do you mean by spark? battery? if so, check for loose ground

sounds stator related search pwctoday probably resistance numbers for the coils on there

spark on the plugs. The stator tests out I need to check out the coil. Thanks guys

i have had stators that tested out ok with the ohm meter but were still bad. i would check the flywheel and key also. i had a 750sx that would only spark once when you hit the start button. it turned out the flywheel was worn and was spinning on the shaft.
