Don't sell the lamey, keep it. It should fit, sell the rest. No need for a 66e. To all the naysayers... you too shall see.

2008 super jet release date 8/20/07 12pm EST

I'm only on page 4, but I can't wait to ride one... The only thing I will say is there is some truth to the rumors that are floating in this thread. I know, because my sister's friend's cousin has a partner that works at Yamaha in GA. This thing is legit!!!!

2008 super jet release date 8/20/07 12pm EST

From what I heard, it's going to be direct injected which sounds probable due to the CARB requirements. Of course my info is hearsay from: 2008 Yamaha Superjet

    Advent T3 ignition ????

Spoke with Craig (or Steve, whatever his name is) at Advent a while back, straight from the horses mouth... 62T only. The last I checked, February 2007?, there was no Advent CDI for use with 61X. Something about not being able to get the timing right for the CDI to work with 61X & 62T :dunno:

    Anyone else not ridden yet?

I know, there are 2 parts to the whole story... both are out of my hands. I'm going to just get them back together when my stuff is finished and worry about reinforcement this fall.

    Anyone else not ridden yet?

I was sooo close to doing that, just couldn't justify spending more money on another ski... even though it was dirt cheap...

    Anyone else not ridden yet?

I'm in the club. New baby, new job, and traveling back and forth to Houston = no progress. Good news is I'm getting my parts back so I can begin assembly... if I can find that extra 2 hours in a day.

any one try one of these carts?

Don't think it's worth it for trailer to water use. Around a shop or home is OK. If your looking for an inexpensive tote, check the one Shonuff linked. It's an older style tote made by Kawasaki, I've used it before. Like my tiger tote better, but that one is great for the price.

cant install this UMI plate $*&#$^

I had the same problem installing the UMI system on my stock '05 pole. Called UMI and they said the metal washer that mounts beneath the pole was used for the stock square pole. Supposedly, it was fiberglass and the metal plate added support for the steering collar/plate assembly.
