Anyone ever figure out how many pounds are lost by replacing oem with aftermarket?

It lasted longer than I thought. I sucked water in a few times with a couple long cranking sessions. That was in june and have'nt had to charge since. Speaking of charge... My ski has been sitting 2 weeks & I wanna ride later. I better go see if it's gonna start:biggrin:

I've been using a 4lb. battery all season... I ran it down once. Since then if I'm having trouble starting I get my pump out of the water.

endo, face plant, lawn dart. damn!!!!

They make a big difference. With a wider nose you can go through steeper section. Not to mention the added grip on the wave face and a new element added to your turns.

    Keeping warm/protection gear

I'd consider a drysuit with boots. Wetsuits work best when wet but on a ski you spend more time out of the water.

    Lost 15lbs

I've been running a 4lbs battery all season with a noticable handling difference. I managed to drain it once. It's alaways on my mind that I'm limited on starting capacity & ride with a kungfu death grip to really make sure I don't loose my ski.
