i sanded the underpad down where my straps were being installed. but at a slope downward from heal to toe. that way you stay in a good riding position, slightly forward leaning... and still have a thick pad under your heal.

I rode both, if I had to chose between them, I would go with the KDX. I felt it rode better, felt lighter, and more nibble. However, did like the XFS too... just not as much.

not bad... but I go to France in March and Germany in April... then I am done until next fall... a few weeks in China. I travel between October and April to Europe.

actually no, i have not had a chance. I've been working way too much and I leave friday for a week in Turkey... followed by a week in Dallas, and then a week in England. I'll try to do it in between trips.
