The raider is definately a couch. Too heavy to even call it a two seater even. Gotta keep the wife happy..
Anyway with the B1 I think for sure your bunks will still be out over the fenders.
The bunk structure is better built than you might think, its not going anywhere.
As to towing safely I only have 50,000 miles or so to say its safe..
I did upgrade the springs to 1000lb (each) and I've gone to 12 inch wheels since the last pic -- primarily for wear, but it looks a little better too.
Now I've been really liking the grip with the rogues, bare handed.
Brand new -- do they get slippery as they wear?
I am *not* wearing gloves, if these get slippery I'll be looking for something else.
I carry a waveraider and a standup -- blaster should be easy.
The trailer is a real hack job -- meant to be temporary, but it fits in my garage and it tracks just fine. (She's seen a lot of miles at 75+..)
The main trouble I have is there is no reasonable way to put a winch for the raider.
I'll tell you back when the equipment was $3-400 I was worried about picking a service that might go under. The stuff's cheap enough now not to worry about that. If something happens to sirius we'll switch to something else.
Whats she listing to? There are no ads on any sirius music channels.
There are ads on show's like Stern and sports coverage, but then you
won't get that at all if you switch.
So does the hole ("A") happen to be the right size for the threaded screw?
Otherwise you'll need to sleeve it or hunt down a special screw, else you'll introduce slop there.
BTW are a lot of you running set up so the cable stops the steering (ie. not hitting the turn plate stop?) Someone should...
FWIW Silicone spray lube makes a good release agent. For a project like this where you will really make a mess if it goes wrong I think I'd probalby look for specialty stuff (us composites etc). Silicone works great for small parts though, eg spray it on a screw and pot it in epoxy and it will...
sure, but it sux for those of us who have been boating 30 years, and even took a class back before they issued licenses. Now I have to pay and sit 8 hours in a class I'm sure I could teach?
10 years sitting it isn't new. There are potential issues with seals, hoses, corrosion etc. Do you get a new warranty?
Just think that dealer has paid for it twice with interest..
