not completely but i think slutty decided to leave the bottom inch or so without foam, and that way it would not hold water and could have drain holes- for me it was partially weight savings as well as keeping those buggers dry:banghead: -

guys. I was thinking of this a while ago with slut. and was going to go with something different. After all the calculations, volume etc. I personally decided it wasnt worth it to run no foam. 2lb foam only adds around 5.4lbs to the hull if properly expanded. Not enough weight savings for... -

How have you shaved weight off your SJ?
Im tryng to save my wallet $5,500 on a lightweight hull...so i can BF - youd be amazed what 15 lbs lighter can do -

Its not a big deal, I've ridden two skis with them and when riding you didnt notice it. My only concern was in the surf doing a55down landings right onto the pump/trim- and yea..duvet is my bedcover- haha its a bou'de(sp?) -
