Question:
Would you pay more on a student loan that is at 2% interest or would you pay more on your mortgage thats at 6.~%? Mortgage is technically a 30yr but right now with my automatic payments it will be done in less than 12. Should I cut that payment back to the 15yr payment and put more...
The first internet forum i ever joined was ak-47.net and i had just bought a romanian ak without knowing much about it so i used the model number as my SN but mispelled it (romak 99.1). Just have kept using it.
I've haven't done many port jobs so I can't give you much comparison but I used the original sport port and used a long taper and really focused on making it as smooth as possible. What I found to work best after the die grinder was to use a rounded file to make sure the surface wasn't wavy. It...
I used the envelope system for awhile but I stopped after I went back to using my CC to track spending since it puts all purchases into categories automatically and can give me month to month averages, ect. Rarely did I set out a time to go buy a specific item. So typically I never had the money...
I guess I sort of went with a modified plan and am still in debt but I still don't don't think I care. I have about 9K in a student loan but the rate is at 1% fixed. I know debt is still debt but thats lower than inflation and I can get higher interest from a bank. So I just leave it at the...
just a heads up on marketing guys, typically they don't know ******** about the actual product. i work with a lot of sales and marketing guys and they are not knowledgeable on the technical aspects.
I have no idea on bikes, but I work with seals for a living and test in various fluids. The...
I live in Indiana and am glad we switched to DST. Studies do show that it costs more though. But it was such a pain in the ass being with one time zone and then being apart of the other. Now atleast I always know we are EST, so much easier when scheduling meetings and such. But I do think we...
The legal wording in patents amazes me. I'm filing for a couple patents at work and I provided the lawyers a description of the parts and then they write it all up. I barely understand the description when it comes back for me to approve and sign.
i don't think i'd run e85 in a ski for the material compatibility issues. but you should be able to run a higher compression ratio than regular gas.
a bit off topic but there is some cool technology being developed for small turbo charged engines and ethanol. regular gas engines have limits on...
I know I'm not getting a full suspension, I don't ride anything rough enough to justify. Right now trying to narrow it down between completely rigid or front shock and if i should go single speed or not. Also 29" tires sound interesting and i'd go with v-brakes. Where I ride I basically never...
just now starting to look at them. i've heard good things of the santa cruz chameleon and they say its versitile, but from what i've seen its $$$. i dont know much about bikes/components so trying to learn some. The trek is the only mountain bike ive had. I'm in indiana so not too rough around...
i've been thinking about getting a single speed to try. currently i just have a rigid trek (moutain track 820). I rode a new Specialized and did not like it at all. Gary Fishers also look nice.
I finally quit on Windows. XP has been giving me fits for the last couple of weeks. I've installed and used Vista at the girlfriends and don't have anything good to say about it. Formated and installed Ubuntu tonight. Things look promising so far, biggest concern is just the compatibility factor...
Paid off my truck today! Only debt I have left is a college loan which is at a 1% fixed rate so I just dont care about it. Setting up my mortgage to have automatic payments for a 15yr loan and I think I can start investing a bit. (already paying into 401K)
It's nice to know I don't owe anyone...
i would think they would let you check in early as long as no one is on your site. at the very least let you use the day parking until 3 so you can launch the skis and get them over to the camp and still get to your stuff. I'll be getting there on Fri but in the late afternoon.
