Yeah brian those skegs on the ride plates are ass in the surf imo. Also keep in mind in the surf when you roll you'll be putting a lot more weight forward and kinda pulling the assend up with your tuck so slipping it free for a roll will feel different than a slide in the flats or a topturn...

Phil, it took me a couple beatings to get mine dialed in too. It's not always about any pre-turn, just depends on your style. I think you can go more balls to the walls w/o a pre-turn but seems like guys who do pre-turn have more finesse throughout their rolls. I never could keep the pole...

Going through a ski to track down a bog problem. Could there be any problems from running a small 3/16" line into dual 38's but using a larger 1/4" for the pulse and return?
