Let me know how it goes. I am scared to open my boat up on glass water. It rides so high out of the water it gets a bit scary. I am going to try a different ride plate. I would like to ride a stock boat to compare.

The hood seal you are using could be lower than the factory one causing the latch to become loose.

I agree with Pat, alot is your approach to the wake. Also, it is easier (for me) to hit the wake close to the back of the boat.

Did you check the height of the cyl? I received a std. lamey when a 5mm was ordered.

Yeah the crank webs look like they are cast not billet. I guess some things never change. Hey, did you get charged extra for the guilitenes (SP?) that come with the powervalve cyl? I heard the pitting on the crank is for weight reduction and good for a 5% increase in power on the dyno.

It was alot lighter than my old ski. My old ski was a stock re-enforced hull, 24-7 hood and x-metal pole and that was about 160lbs. Bare hull before paint was 125 if I remember correctly. Also, I ride alot of surf. Flatwater guys may like the hulls lighter. I told mark to make it beefy to...
