If it is running good and has good throttle response throughout then I wouldent worry about it. How low are you talking when it is running rough? Idle? If so try raising the idle a little bit.
Well stator ohmed out ok. Coil was NFG 75+ ohm between orange and black and 0 ohm between plug wires. MSD coil ohmed out ok but I was not getting a good reading between the plug wires. I cut a good 2 inches of each and re-terminated and was getting a reading 4.6k ohms. Put everythign back...

I am currently running the middle screw out 3/4 turn, top closed, bottom closed and a 2.5 seat in the hose going to my stinger and my boat runs great. Give that a whirl.
