Looks correct to me the water outlet on 750--800 Kawis is always on the left side of the head and the protrusions on the exhaust side match up with the protrusions on the cylinder.

Flex hone is better those other style hones get stuck in the ports , I usually go with a 220 grit for regular cast iron rings

Yes I still use it regularly , it keeps the carpal tunnel at bay and it about the only thing I have found that helps that condition.

I use that because I don't regularly use epoxy primer , on most stuff I use AkxoNobel Dynacoat urethane primer surfacer which can be mixed as a high build or a sealer depending on how you mix it , its part of the same group that makes Sikkens, Interlux , Hammerite and countless other brands ...
