    Does anyone have a good working MSD Cdi for 2015 Superjet for sale? Also, what's best test procedure to see if my old one is still good?

    I sent mine to Joey at HighSpeedIndustries. He then sent it to MSD and they checked it. Found it to be defective and out of warranty and threw it out. Works for me. https://highspeedind.com/

    Well, I spoke with Joey at High Speed Industries today and he informed me that MSD tested the FX-1's Enhancer and found that it was defective. And that the warranty had long since expired. So, they just tossed it. I put the oem Yamaha CDI back in the FX-1, so we shall see if it functions...

    Another Seized Impeller

    Pump down, shaft up. Heat up the coupler. Fill up the coupler with PB Blaster (I will buy some Kroil per WFO's suggestion). Let it cool. Do it again. I did it three times. Got frustrated and went to bed. Then the next morning it took very little effort to break it free. Amazing.

    I just did this which, unknowingly, is exactly what @mikesx recommended. Heat it hot. Spray PB Blaster into it. Repeat. Repeat. Leave it alone and the next day it will come off easy peasy. Check out post #30 here...

    I understand that water should not be in the crankcase. But, how does the crankcase on a 701 2-stroke drain? The exhaust manifold is up on the cylinder. It is not connected to the crankcase. What am I missing?

    Yes, I will put the stock CDI back in today. However, I am not finished with my Bpipe install, so unless I can find a couple of 1/8" brass or stainless steel fittings locally, I won't be able to test it with the stock CDI because the ski won't be put back together with the B-pipe.
