What's the setup on the motor? You need 147.5 main and 120 low for b pipe, head, msd, etc. Use a 2.0 needle and seat and get the pop off to 20 psi. It will guarantee run and rev out with that setup at sea level.

Are you using it as the only tank or adding it to the cold fusion?
If using with the front tank,
Pull the supply's to the carbs off the rear tank middle fittings. Pull 2 feeds off the front tank and run lines to the top and bottom fittings of the rear tank.
Returns from carbs go to the front...

Many brands of gas contain added dyes. Yellow is a very common color. Some detergent additives are also yellow. I wouldn't worry about the color. Your ski may not have started for a variety of other reasons
