Drilled and tapped for the front hood latch and set up my Thrust adjustable latch. Drilled out holes for my pole bracket and installed the pole, spring and air tubes.

Got my rear bond rail trimmed to liking, tubbies...
Use the shaft as a punch, catch the edge of it and push it out. Or a small sharp pick. Just be careful not to jack up where the bushing sits in

They get kinda stuck in there. I you can see it there in the picture. It's got worn out throttle shaft all over the plastic bushing

You might need a thin midshaft shim like oem uses. When I align my pumps the tool slides in without catching. No pushing necessary it's silent. Your shaft could also be slightly bent( have runout) spin it 90* check it, spin it again 90* and keep checking

It's more of a handling upgrade than a power upgrade.
Unless you nail the right prop pitch/nozzle size etc down first try you might even make less thrust or have a flat power delivery feel.
Most people buy a Solas and hooker 9-15 and think it's great, where in fact it's just a little better...

What do you run in Brandon's Dasa ?
I have always used br8es plugs without issue in 81-89mm bore engines. Along with switching plugs, you are recommending the 9 over the 8 heat range?

Some of the porting bits are pretty expensive.
I use this setup, also have other shaped heads. Can clean it out when it clogs with aluminum with a wire brush.

The Mitsubishi has a great product backed by a 5 year parts, 7 year compressor warranty. It will last ya 10+ years ocd. If you ever had to move it you could. The refrigerant can be pumped back into the condenser, and everything else taken apart.
