How do I dislike a post?

Speaking of, can someone explain the bit holders? I don’t understand how you get a bit to stay? I don’t use them because they just fall out.

I use it a lot and have a few other forums saved to it as well. I like getting the notifications on my phone.

I assembled a new 1105 a couple months ago. It’s all dasa/worx stuff (cylinder, pistons, etc). I was sent caged bearings for a CR500 as well. I still have the part numbers on the box for the bearings and pistons if it helps any.

I hate armor all. Also not a fan of any protectant that leaves residue or a shiny surface period. Any automotive all purpose cleaner should remove it, just make sure to dilute it correctly for what you’re doing. Like said above simple green should work, they have recommendations for automotive...

I had the same issue when I assembled my TPE engine this year. Everything was brand new and the bellow on one powervalve popped off twice first ride out. I took it apart, cleaned everything good, and put a thin layer of threebond on it. It hasn’t popped off again.

If you see the amount of material removed from cases for a large CC engine, you might change your mind. I think it’s worth the money for someone experienced to do it correctly to get the most out of it. Not saying you can’t do it, just might not be as good as it can be. Get a base gasket for a...

Yeah kind of goes along with what @Jcary85 mentioned. I guess the same goes back when I had a B pipe. I never tuned for the first part of the pipe to sizzle or whatever they say, I just messed with it until I was happy and made sure it wasn’t too hot. I guess my main concern has been how high...

Yeah I get what you’re saying. And I do have my strip on the fattest part of the chamber. I just can’t imagine getting it that hot unless I drastically change the jet. I know I have a 60 and a 50 so I could test those out at least. I do need to try checking it right after riding harder to see...

150 is what I’ve heard for the waterbox as well. I can’t imagine getting the chamber to 170 though. This must be for a non jacketed pipe?

This makes more sense for tuning honestly. I haven’t messed with it since I’ve had it on the 1105. I stopped at a 70 jet on the 865 because it felt great there. I do plan on running the pipe dry to see how I like it as well.

Is there a target temperature for a PFP chamber when running wet? You have the temp strip on the chamber, but how accurate is it since the chamber is jacketed and the heat has to transfer through? I’m running a 70 jet right now and I don’t think I’ve ever seen my temp strip go past 122 degrees...
