what does everytone think about running girdled heads on stroked lamey engines with powervalves? Do they get in the way? do they add any protection? I dont really want to run one but i will if the benefits outweigh the hassles. Start discussing....

You will be fine. I assume your trailer is an 8X20 or something close? you arnt going to be driving in the "dunes" with the trailer. We all camp on the front side of the dunes.

Do you have 4WD? If so just air down all your tires including the trailer. you should be fine that way. the sand shouldn't be to torn up.
