It doesn't have to be 2 up and flickable at the same time. I need a machine my girl feels safe on and I can cruise around with her on the back. But can also take it by myself and jump/carve with it.
What about a carbed rx tho?
I like the gp800r. Just hear that an rx would eat it for breakfast.
I'm open to suggestions. Trying to stay under $3k. Just want flickable and quick that'd be stable for two up. Dont want a 3 up. Don't want something like today's 800+lb boats.
Yes. It's a very dead horse. But nobody has discussed these skis in a while so wondering if anythings changed in a few more years.
Picking up two skis this season. A superjet and a couch.
For the couch I'm looking to spend about ~3k or less.
So basically in that range I really like the rx...
thanks for all the responses! you are right, Matt Jones, it's the cleanest ski this age that i've ever come across.
up here in MI im lucky to see half a dozen of these come on craigslist a year. sxi pro's are so hard to find. i specifically hunted one out because i wanted the perks this one has...
hello all, I'm looking into selling my sxi pro and finding a slightly better one. just wondering what it's worth, since i'm a little out of the jet ski seen lately. here's the stat's. give me your two cents.
It's a 1999 Kawi Sxi Pro 750. almost entirely stock. newish grips. new pole pad. new...
congrats! i do love my sxi pro, but i think i've decided to sell it and get something different in spring. its given me 3 great years of awesome riding!
I'm sure the chances that you checked this already are high, but did you look at the intake grate and above it? i had this problem once last summer, and i looked. and it was just a stupid wad of weeds stuffed up in the pump that were restricting water flow. just a thought.
Cut them back? i've read alot of threads/articles/forums on the ski's but never heard of cutting them back? please explain? is this just cutting off all the slack in the spark plug lines? seems to be almost 2 inches of it.
My ski is on a hoist, so it's a little harder to just pull the carbs so...
thanks, sxipro02, the electrical problem was resolved. just used my dremmel to polish the crap out of all the battery connections.
this fuel issue is really bothering me though.. it sucks having to stop just because the ski cant run right. tell me more about this valve in the fuel tank. did...
rode for a few hours yesterday... did it again.. to the point that i just end up coming off the lake because its not even fun to ride. anybody have any ideas?
thanks, steve. I've seen your ski alot on x-h2o and a really admire the setup you have. as of right now I'm a little short on money, but i might look at things like flywheel and head, the cheaper things. honestly my handling is pretty good. i'm pretty cordinated on the ski, i just want more...
tinkered around today. installed 650 nozzle and cleaned out airbox. messing around with the airbox made me think of two questions i have for you all.
1. i've seen people experience both good and bad performance after removing the silencer tubes from the airbox. what's the overall consensus on...
thanks for the info, tor*p*do. very cool info on that pdf. basically what i got from it, is they specify no change to carbs other than tuning if needed when using pipe and A/M flame arresters. now, I'll be using stock flame arresters to help keep water out, and because theyre simply not that...
Thanks for the info, Buzzard, i searched craigslist, ebay, and several pwc sites and cant find a coffman for sale reasonably, so i think these few available fpp pipes are my best bet. is there a general rule of thumb jetting setup people use with the stock intake and fpp limited pipe? and what...
Thanks tor*p*do, i went and posted in some random threat to get up to 10, and it just took a while to register i guess. its working now.
I'd be happy with a coffman as long as it's in good condition. Which coffman pipe would be comparable to the fpp limited pipe? in that it's ok for...
I have contacted the guy with the pipe, the top screw is frozen, so he says.
its a 99, dual carb sxi pro.
so the sxr prop will fit in my 99 sxi pro? i also know guys either bore the stock nozzle or get a 650sx nozzle. i think ill look for a 650 nozzle so i can keep the ability to return to...
