Hello,
I need some help here. My 750 has bad cavitation problems at low end, low speed operation. The engine runs great but is not pumping water. I have a '91 650 sx that performs better at lower speeds which surprises me because the 750 has more power. Are there any common areas to check on the ski where air could get into the impeller? I realize that if the intake is out of the water air will get in, the problem I am having occurs when my weight is shifted back, nose is up, and I am trying to plane with intake in water. On my 650 in the same position getting out of the water is not a problem. On my 750, without easing the throttle and shifting my weight forward, my ski will not plane. Any ideas?
