That green turf job looks good, any pointers for me? You turf the sides first all in one piece each? From top down or bottom up?

Ya i wasn't really gonna say anything but the quality wasn't exactly what i was expecting. As you can see we pretty much cut them down a lot. Lots of glassing and foaming to come. Got down to 35* last night so i suppose not bein able to work on it for a few days will let all that resin set up good.

More progress, the rest will continue sometime this week and hopefully glass everything up sat.

Well shes completely opened up. Gonna have to cut up the holds a bit though, things just weren't fitting good. Heres a midday picture, both sides are open now defoamed and everything ground down quite a bit. I bet i have a good layer of black dust in my lungs, hopefully my body can expel it...

Lake is called Oak creek, south of sweetwater 30 mins. Family's had a place out there since the 70s, nothin to run home about but is plenty fun. My dad built a new dock a few years ago and has one of those jet docks that i get to pull up on, super nice. With my old sxr i used to open the drain...

Haha, i bought an 04 sxr about 5 yrs ago for something like 3400 and sold it last summer for 3300... snagged me a SJ. But ya, i like that logic too haha. My only problem was deciding on a new SJ or starting to piece together an AM hull but then i wouldn't have had enough money to ride for a...

But supposedly they fixed the issue to where it wont peel off like that anymore... dont know for sure but i snagged some black on orange. Hopefully it holds up better now and if not, ohwell. Maybe i'll snag some black molded diamond for the bottom and the two tone for sides/rails.

Also i'm hoping the two tone hydroturf (black on orange) is going to match up well with the color scheme... hopefully the oranges will be close enough... i know that the two tone was somewhat inferior but i've heard they fixed the prob, now i'm just expecting a little fading of the turf.
