Yeah I figured. Better torque to get you going again, and top end is pointless in freestyle I'm sure.
I'm the n00b that has yet to even be on a ski. I have a thread going in general about it, so sad to say I'm still pretty new at this whole thing.
Ok, that would explain it. I'll bank on it losing top end if it's stock. Curious to hear from Stonefree if he did or not.

Man, I think it is awesome all of you offering your skis to somebody that you have not only never met, but also somebody that hasn't ridden one. What a great group. I seriously plan on taking somebody up on the offer. I'll ride Rich's SXR (Jetaddict) and see how that goes, but I'd like to get on...
Yeah, honestly, from the get go I figured a SJ, but I wanted to see if there were any other decent alternatives.

Hey everyone! I am moving to the Tampa Bay area from boring crappy Iowa, so I figure it's time to get into jet skiing. I have literally zero experience on them, so I was curious where I should start. I kind of want a couch, but I hear those get boring quickly...is that true for most of you...

I see a filter in there that could be clogged (water or just gunk from 2 years of running) as well as a fuel chamber that may have water in it. Rebuild kits are around $35, might consider...
