Whats boring the nozzle and how do you do it?

Yeah I figured. Better torque to get you going again, and top end is pointless in freestyle I'm sure. I'm the n00b that has yet to even be on a ski. I have a thread going in general about it, so sad to say I'm still pretty new at this whole thing.

Whats boring the nozzle and how do you do it?

Ok, that would explain it. I'll bank on it losing top end if it's stock. Curious to hear from Stonefree if he did or not. What all do you have done to yours?

Whats boring the nozzle and how do you do it?

Sweet! In that case the nozzle is too small for the motors output out of the box. Thanks!

Anybody have any pics of these? I searched this thread but couldn't find em. Heck, even a cell phone pic of it on your ski is good, just so I have an idea.

Correct me if I'm wrong...because it seems to happen more frequently than I care to admit...but wouldn't you lose top end by doing this?

Man, I think it is awesome all of you offering your skis to somebody that you have not only never met, but also somebody that hasn't ridden one. What a great group. I seriously plan on taking somebody up on the offer. I'll ride Rich's SXR (Jetaddict) and see how that goes, but I'd like to get on...

Yeah, that is a very good point. If the sxr is more stable I may go that route, or at least really consider it. I'm 6' even and about 200 I think.

Yeah, honestly, from the get go I figured a SJ, but I wanted to see if there were any other decent alternatives. I'll have to read that Wiki article tomorrow when I have more time. Thanks for all of the input!

Freeriding basically. Sorry, totally forgot to mention that. It'll be a casual thing for starters at least.

Right on. Any reasons for those 3? Or maybe I should ask...would you recommend one of those 3 over the other 2?

n00b looking for advice on a first ski

Hey everyone! I am moving to the Tampa Bay area from boring crappy Iowa, so I figure it's time to get into jet skiing. I have literally zero experience on them, so I was curious where I should start. I kind of want a couch, but I hear those get boring quickly...is that true for most of you...

Aah, my bad. Good luck with it! I think myself and about 10 others would love to hear what it is if you get it fixed. I know I'm curious/stumped.

Here is a diagram of the carb http://www.tripleateam.com/water/d/64218-1/Keihin+Throttle+Position.jpg I see a filter in there that could be clogged (water or just gunk from 2 years of running) as well as a fuel chamber that may have water in it. Rebuild kits are around $35, might consider...
