You guys have a good crew. The Buzzard came back for me last spring when my ski crapped out on me chasing boat wakes at CFW. Here's a pic of my tow rope. It has carabiners at either end. I wrap it around my waist twice and snap it on. Wear it like a belt. Super fast and easy to hook up skis with.

I've heard the power delivery is smoother on big motors using the PFP. The RRP hits a bit harder quicker like Jace said, making it harder to ride.

I would think that wake skate shoes would be good. I used wrestling shoes for a few years, but have been doing Vans hi tops for the last season and am much happier. And if the shore is rocky the Vans are a bit cushier than the wrestling shoes. I also wear 3 mil neoprene booties every ride...

It does take some time and patience getting it right, but pays off HUGE. I messed one up a while back and had to run a couple days without it and it sucked.... Although it was my fault it messed up. I lube it up with vaseline before every ride now ;) And the fitment is also key.
