anyone try the blowson bolt on destroyer sponsons? everyone says sponsons on a fx 1 is a must do but I've never worked with fiberglass and these seem like a good alternative.

talked to dave at impros and he said the skat-trac 18/23 swirl impeller is a good alteritve to doing a 144 pump swap. anyone ever try this impeller? also, we all bore our nozzles on the 440/550's. would this give some added BRAPP and if so bore how much?
my turf should be here soon. how do i remove the side pads on my fx-1? i see the buttons on the sides. is there a way to tke these out to save the pads? there in nere perfect condition and i think it would be a waste to destroy them! somone might want them down the road!

i was running my 550 on the hose yesterday and noticed the pto(e-box side)of the engine was running way cooler then the front cylinder. that plug is also always black and wet. ski rips when its in the water. is this normal for running on the hose?
