Saved up my plowing money and decided to bite the bullet and get the highly praised Blue ported freestyle Jetmaniac 701 top end. Last fall I picked up a 61x case with a rebuilt crank. A few more bux and ADA head later and I'm one happy camper! leak down test this afternoon if I can get out of...
is this a good spot to glue my bilge pump in? just finished building my Jetmaniac/Blue ported 710 and getting ready to do the leakdown test. I don't want to glue this in and find out that its in a bad location! under or over the midshaft with the bilge hose? 5200 works right?
So this 2014 is glued to the water! So much so I'm getting sprayed in the face all the time from the nose wanting to dive. Should I D cut the plate or cut it flush with the back? This is what I'm thinking for a D cut.
picked up a couple flush kits from jetmaniac. I guess there is a plug in the exhaust I can remove and connect the flush hose. for whatever reason I cant seem to find the plug. can someone point me in the right direction?
should I tee off the waterline to the waterbox to dry it out on my 2014 (if I ever get it back and it runs)? to be honest I don't even know if its possible seeing I didn't have the machine long enough to get familiar with it under the hood!
so I finally sack up and buy a brand new 2014 super jet. picked it up from the dealer yesterday. when I get home I wanted to see how she sounded. soon as I hit the start button it revs out to about half throttle and wont shut off!! I yank the hood off(scratched now) and pull the plug wires...
anyone ever done it? I put on in my square nose but cant get the jetting correct. Factory pipe says 115 pilot and stock needle & seat. Problem is it starts hard and loads up at idle. I went up to a 120 pilot and it would hardly run. 115 is back in and low adjuster is open 3/4 turn. still starts...
anyone have the templates for the sides of a squarenose? I'm horrible at turfing and don't want to hack it up at this point. anyone in the northern conn or western mass area that has mad turf skills and wants to help I'd gladly pay for there time(and all the beer u can drink)
my buddys got a ffp out of his sxi pro. I belive its a wet pipe. It wraps around between the tank and motor. anyone ever try fitting one in a superjet? I belive all the manifolds are the same where the chamber mounts. the pipe is free so even if I have to buy a different tank i'll be ahead of...
Do they exist? Anyone have any pics? I like the wide tray with the bobs. Tried searching but it's hard using tap talk!

All I have is a 120 pilot and FFP calls for a 115. I have all N&S/spring combos. Any way around this without ordering a different pilot. Just for the last ride of the year?

Picked up 5 gallons of 100LL Av gas. Thinking of running it for my winterization mix. Does it break down like pump gas? Should I add stableizer?

Any of you guys running a PSI chamber? I'm hoping it hits hard off the bottom. Length looks like it will. It has a mount that sits on the bottom of the hull. Do I drill through the bottom with a bolt or try to glass some sort of mount in? There is only 5 inches between the stinger and water box...
This is what I get for attempting a build half way through the summer. Body and paint took way longer then expected. Now that's all done had trouble with the midshaft that I sorted out this morning. Now I go to install the motor and either the motor mounts are the wrong ones or my bed plates are...
Getting ready to install my pump and mid shaft and found this
Is the line on the left for a second cooling line? This is the inside firewall.
