I had fouling probs for a while over a year ago, almost every weekend, BR8ES, they sort of cleared up and only one or twice last year (none this year yet), so I picked up some BR8EYA a couple days ago and surprisingly had a fouled plug on the old BR8ESs so in went the new EYAs. So far it seems...
As Jetfiend said, I think a crank bearing or bearing cage has failed, something went thru the top end, that piston was hit from the top, matching marks should be on the head also. Is that signs o detonation I pic 2, can't see well o t phone?
I have had a few racebikes, all KTM's, a 450sx, 612 stroker, a 200sx and a 300xc 2 stroke but they weren't fast enough against the competition. My latest is a 500exc with complete suspension setup and a 610cc big bore kit. For the street I ride a KTM 990SMR.
Looks to me like you inverted the throttle linkage on the butterfly shaft when you reassembled, that is why the Idle screw is not touching the stopper. Flip it back over and give it some idle and it should start.
I have mine thru windows 7 which is upgraded to 10, worked fine last weekend. Email Lisa at ATP, I had trouble the first time and she got me sorted.
Does it start and run the ski?
You only need the USB wire, if you have a 3 way map switch installed I think you need it set on map A. You have clicked on 'connect' in the lower right of the screen right? It should flash a green light and show the CDI serial # when connected.
You need to pull the flywheel like you said, and line up the mark on the stator to the mark on the case, nothing fancy. I would try a different start stop switch first before the stator$$$$$$
your 135 will be fine to start, open the high speed screw. you don't need a hose on to start the ski everytime, 20 seconds dry running is fine, and never turn the hose on if it isn't running!!!!
