It is summer...skis go for a little more. If you have time and can travel look in your surrounding states. You might find a better deal.

Ride the 650 for the rest of the season...when it gets cooler people will start putting skis up for sale much cheaper. Look for a 701 couch then.

4 years is quite a while for these engines. Have you checked compression yet? Might be time to pull it apart and replace some seals and gaskets.

It is a fun ski for sure. I've ridden one with an 800 and one with a 1200. Both very fun setups.

Air leak would be my guess as well. I've put my hand over the exhaust outlet to keep engines from running away.

Unless your modding the engine a stocker would work just fine.

If you are willing to spend Blowsion dollars on all those parts...you might as well just buy an AM hull and go all the way.

You can get away with a milled head and pump gas in this situation. My ported 61x in my old SN hit very hard down low.
