He knows all about breaking stuff lol. To this date I have never seen anyone break the bottom of there ski. A guess 30+ rolls and flips in a day will do it.
It's does get easier. But if you ever go to the surf it's a whole new thing. My first few times I had to take a break every 10 or so and I'm 24 and in good shape. There's a guy we ride with and he is 41 and he doesn't stop ever that helped for motivation. And he doesn't just ride the he throws...
Because if you don't scuff up everything and removed all oils the paint will come off. And for finish when spraying it tends to leave a lot of orange peal. Which means a lot of wet sand and compound
I used interlux boat paint on mine. It's actually a really good paint. But if you want perfection prepare for a lot of prep work and a lot of finish work. It's not a 123 job like rattle can.
