    Other First motorcycle crash

I noticed my riding ablility on the street improved 10 fold when I starting doing track days. Even guys who don't ride hard should do some track days.....they help you stay calm and know how to handle those oh poop moments. BTW, I'm not implying this accident with the bicyclist could have been...

The carbs are 48mm btw if that matters.

Other Running OEM f/a on Blackjack carbs

Does anybody mak and adapter so you can run OEM 44mm flame arrestors on BlackJack carbs? I have always had carbs that bolted right up but looking at the "horn" on the Blackjacks I don't see any options. I swore I would never run open f/a again. Chad

My old motor was perfect for surf.......However do any of us "NEED" more power? Is it really worth spending all this money to flat water flip? I could do flat water rolls with my 701. Classic debate of where do you stop. When you are already spending $4,000 on a motor then why not spend...

    Other DASA 89mm vs. 94mm......Opinions??

I had considered your set up....10mill with 89mm bore. There isn't any cost difference to go to the 94mm but then I only get one bore out of it. Don't get me wrong that should still last me a long time.

    Other DASA 89mm vs. 94mm......Opinions??

There has been lots of good feedback here! Decisions decisions......hoping whatever I buy will last me a long time so I don't have to do this again soon. I know some people like changing their set up every year. I like to set it up, maintain it, and ride it!

    Other DASA 89mm vs. 94mm......Opinions??

Yeah, I am probably 75% surf and 25% flat water. I wouldn't mind being able to flat water flip my freak, but it's not vital. I do ride some places that make a full size tank mandatory. I also want a charging system and ideally pump gas. So yes Masterblaster.....you are pretty much correct...

Super Jet Has this happened to anyone else with xmetal bars?

I talk nice to my stuff so no problems so far. Have heard of people snapping them though.

Will the 4 mil 125mm rods affect longevity much vs. stock stroke?

    Other DASA 89mm vs. 94mm......Opinions??

I looked at the Powerhouse Performance......Was leaning toward Dasa just because it has been around longer and is more proven. Would love to ride them both or at the very least get more feedback. Thought about a longer stroke but $$$$ comes into play. At 4mm I would think stock length rods...

Are you talking about something other than their billet SS PV motors?

    Other DASA 89mm vs. 94mm......Opinions??

I am looking at having a motor built. I know DASA currently makes a cylinder that is good for 89,89.5,90,90.5,91 mm bores. They also make a bigger bore 94mm/95mm sleeve. I will probably be doing a 4mm or 5mm stroker. Debating whether to do the smaller bore cylinder so I can have more...

Super Jet Do I need reinforcing for my style?

What Matt said. Should really only be an issue if you intend to start learning rolls. Those side landings can be an issue. Other than that keep it light and leave it alone.

    Super Jet Sluggish solas mag

Just like boring the nozzle I found a stubby cone to be a good tuning tool. Definitely worth a try. Some people have good success, some don't.
