Any issues you are having, I'm sure are beyond his control. Kevin is a pretty straight up guy and would bend over backwards to make things right. I will call him and let him know of this thread. BTW he is back from Austrialia.
Years ago I was at Lake Havasu with some friends. We had a good beach but it had no picnic table (Which the girls in our group really wanted). While out waterskiing, we saw a table at another beach a few miles away so we flipped it upside down (like your picture), tied a rope to it and skiied...
I hear you man of course there's going to be inflation. This is what I don't understand though, a new 450 4 stroke MX bike sells for around the same as a new Super jet, however there's 10x as many components that make up an MX bike than what goes into a ski. Why are they priced the same...
IMO the stand up market is caught in a catch 22. Who's in the market for a stand up? Kids and Young adults mainly. What kid can afford a $8500 toy? Not many. Stand up Mfg's have out priced their market. When a commodity is priced beyond the means of the group it appeals to then that group...
OK Matt, your right, Maybe that was a stretch calling them light and flimsy, at least in regards to the newer surf specific AM hulls. I know Matt Smiths Rickter Evo and Zack and Jake Brights Krash hulls seem to be built very solid. So for the course of this discussion I'll give you that and...
Well maybe if your plan was to move somewhere which typically has small surf, but if your thinking larger surf then what advantage are you thinking you will gain buy going AM? As far as strength every AM Hull I've seen are light and flimsy and still need reinforcing if ridden in larger surf...
Marks riding is Amazing! He has really stepped it up lately! I want to wish him "Best of luck" this year at Surf Slam, not that he needs Luck, because he's earned every bit of his skillz through hard work and dedication.
I own 2 RN Super Jets and 2 SXR's. The reason I am able to own 4 skis is because I don't have an Aftermarket hull.
Aftermarket hulls are for flat water and micro surf or having the absolute edge in surf riding competitions. For recreational surf riding, at least here on the West coast were...
Dude I wasn't offended, I was just wondering what that had to do with anything. Back in the day I did Jet ski repairs on the side and I had a Lesbian client. She was super hot, I always thought it was a big waste.
1. Are you refering to the ski in your Avatar? I could be wrong but it has the graphics of a 440
2. The pumice stone Air Filter was suppose to protect against backfires. Unless its brittle and crumbling apart I wouldn't remove it and run nothing. It should work fine as long as the ski...
That sux! This year at the Oside Crews annual Estero Beach Mexico ride I broke all four motor mounts within the first 30 minutes and was out for the rest of the trip. Estero Beach is only about 150 miles from my house so that wasn't so bad but the wait to get accross the border back into the...
I would recommend going with a surfing wetsuit. They are specifically made to be super flexible and still retain maximum warmth so they are ideal for any type of action sport. A 3/2mm thickness was designed for water temps between 55-70 degrees.
I personally prefer Oniell wetsuits...
