Overheat wouldn't cause it to bog. Just limits the revs to around 3k I think. I would rebuild the carbs or at least check the fuel filter. Make sure your hi/low speeds are dialed in right. Could be a lean bog. How does it act up and when? On full throttle? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Triple check that your fuel lines are routed correctly. Then pull the pulse line and verify it's not clogged. If not, put your finger on the nipple and turn over the engine. You should feel suction on your finger. If there is suction, then the problem has to be your fuel tank. Can't be the carbs...
