Try it on your cooling line first and let me know if it works lol Prolly gonna buy one myself too. Got some other use cases for it anyways if it doesn't pan out.
Alrighty thanks. Just need to hone the cylinders and finally bolt on the head. Feels like I've forgotten how to ride stand ups since it's been so long I've been out of commission..
Well actually only 2 weeks but feels like damn forever lol

So I recently did a full rebuild with new low hour OEM crank, crank seals, all new gaskets, pistons and new (bought used) ADA head with 35cc domes. I've been reading up a lot on how to break it in but not much talk on whether to use mineral or synthetic and whether it applies to my case. Reason...
Yeah I aready loosed them all up and pushed coils inwards. Just wanted to wait to get some input before reinstalling. Think I'll sand down and clean the magnets first then put back together. Thanks. I'll upload a video if I still hear the binding.
So I've been researching how to identify X vs T stators/flywheels and decided to pull mine one last time. I can confirm I'm definitely using a 61x (or maybe 6m6 but that doesn't matter) flywheel and stator combo. I loosened up the coils and pushed down towards the center hole on the plate and...
I tried that with one cool and it wouldn't budge. It didn't look like I could adjust them at all. I guess I can try it again though. I mean we're talking ~0.1mm out on one coil. That's why my original question was once I start up the engine within seconds it will shave off that tiny portion. I...
It's a 61x. No idea what stator plate I put on but they looked damn near identical. I was able to fit it flush with the flywheel before mounting. It's a slight rubbing and you can tell where it binds on the stator. It's not crazy bad.. Just binds randomly when turning it slow

I replaced a broken stator plate and swapped out coils from old plate but after installing flywheel, it catches on something which I'm thinking are the magnets on the stator. I made sure the woodruff key was in place too. If I turn the crank hard enough it'll break free so my question is.. can I...
Overheat wouldn't cause it to bog. Just limits the revs to around 3k I think. I would rebuild the carbs or at least check the fuel filter. Make sure your hi/low speeds are dialed in right. Could be a lean bog. How does it act up and when? On full throttle?

Triple check that your fuel lines are routed correctly. Then pull the pulse line and verify it's not clogged. If not, put your finger on the nipple and turn over the engine. You should feel suction on your finger. If there is suction, then the problem has to be your fuel tank. Can't be the carbs...
Hey guys I know this topic has been discussed many times before regarding FP's but I have a pretty rare PSI pipe and want to verify my lines are routed correctly for single cooling.
From pump -> manifold
Head -> bottom head pipe
Top head pipe T'd off straight to pisser and 90° to stinger...
