its going to be a mechanical bond any ways so I don't see what a 1 inch difference is going to make. I plan to hit this with some 36 grit before I lay the carbon.
I have actually read over that post several times. that's probably the way I will do it.
one Q on that though. so you make your tape pattern then stick that to the carbon, flip the carbon over and spray the opposite side with the spray?
some of the videos I have seen on youtube show people putting a light coat of epoxy on and letting it get a little tacky and then laying the carbon down. I have never heard any one mention this method on here. Whats the best way to keep the carbon from fraying and looking like crap when you lay it?
I tried the bolt thing on the main line this year and it actually leaks just a bit no matter how tight the clamp was, but I guess its no big deal if its on the pulse fitting or something.
Alight ribs are ground out as much as they are going to be, man that was a huge mess. I have it all wiped down so I guess I will fill the bond line next. I am not sure if I will get to that tonight or not though.
alright I finished scrubbing the hull out. Now I guess I will grind the ribs and start prepping for the carbon. I think I am going to order some por15 and use that to coat the bottom of the hull.

Alright hull is totally empty. Pump is out. the only thing left is my handpole and thats not coming off.
Now to start cleaning the grime out of the engine bay and prep for reinforcement. I am cansidering getting some por15...
day 3 for the tank, it looks black in person but the flash still shows the brown. I guess I don't need it for a month so I could just leave it in there.
