Is the venturi hose still attached to the exit nozzle on the pump?

There is also a pin hole in this 90 degree fitting that should be checked to ensure it's clear.

Rickter-brand new on my edge leaked like a sieve (btw, told that's how they work o_O). Replaced with thrust ball set up. I prefer it over the x-metal, but I thought we were talking solely flaps here.

X-metal flap has done well in my freak, ostensibly since Tem built it in 2011. The screws which hold the flap to the aluminum plate must not be overtightened, otherwise it angles the flap so as to not seal properly.
