    The sea flea budget fix

A few more shots of the damaged spots to be repaired. I have some patching to do and laminating new 1/4 ply to the hull. Plan is to patch and fill the holes best I can and cover the entire bottom with new fiberglass. I have some contractor grade paintable polyurethane sealant to fill all the...

    The sea flea budget fix

Here's a shot of the first layup done. Looks pretty good. The back is now sealed. The throttle that came on it is cast aluminum ratchet style with a push bottom release. It will need a new cable aswell. And we have snow now!

    The sea flea budget fix

@CrazyJoesRacing I've seen some pictures of really nice sea fleas with the hurricane motors. Mine is old as dirt but I'm just hoping to get it working.

    The sea flea budget fix

This will be the motor for the boat, it's not setup for steering controls so I'll have to make some brackets somehow to steer this thing. The original steering was with cables and pulleys so I'm going to upgrade to a steering cable system from a old boat my buddy had lying around. The steering...

    The sea flea budget fix

I thought I would share with everyone my latest project. I got the hull out of a pack barn from a friend who has had it for quite some time. It appears to be 50's-60's kit boat(judging by the slot brass screws) where you would get a plans book and build it yourself. I want to fix it just to try...

Freestyle 148 solas vs 155 oem pump ....

If you tune the 155 properly, yes. No replacement for displacement.

    155 OEM PUMP TALK

It's been working for us for years, also we glue our pumps together so the bolts only really sandwich until glue dries.

    155 OEM PUMP TALK

@cookn makes inserts for wear rings to run stock 144 long pump bolts. Every one that I know that has put 155 in stock superjet has cut the pump tunnel larger(intake grate area) to accept more flow including grinding open stock 144 pump shoe or installed a 155 pump shoe.

    Spark plugs in watercraft

Was a joke, you really think a guy that runs total loss would think this for real haha.

    Spark plugs in watercraft

I toasted a msd total loss pickup, I'm blaming spark plugs.

If you have the cylinder and Pistons in good shape. If it has already worked as a setup, run it!

    Spark plugs in watercraft

So what you guys are saying is with oem boots, run resistor plugs. With ngk resistor boots, run non resistor plugs.

    Spark plugs in watercraft

I have run non resistor setups in the past and have not had any problems either, no timing inconsistency. Is this possibly something that develops over time Tnt?

    Spark plugs in watercraft

I held a br8es and a br9eya side be each at Napa last night and the eya's are longer by about a 1/16 of an inch, not the threads, the actual tip. I did not buy them because I'm afraid of piston clearance.

    Spark plugs in watercraft

What plugs do you recommend for a 190 psi ski with msd total loss? I've seen spark jump from my plug caps to head at least an inch. I've also noticed worse performance with iridium tip spark plugs than standard br8es plugs.
