Check the plug on the cdi ,had the same problem with Erica's old sxr ,it was corroded terminals .

Hers was cavitating a little but not as bad as you would think with the amount of water it was taking in.

The mid shaft was not sealed on my girls SJ and it was taking on water there.Leave it on the trailer and start it and see if it start to fill up from pump pressure forcing water in around the seal.

Give Art a call he has a great port spec for the sxr .If anyone wants to take it for a ride i,ll be at wavedaze with it .

Try this setup 155, 130 ,2.5 with 95 spring it came from Art i was going to try a 48 bj on Erica's ski she is running a set of 38s with Arts mods and they work great on a ported cyl ,he told me that i would probably go back to the 38s but give it a try i just never got a intake. I was running a wet pipe ,all i had to do was remove the gas tank and the tdr is lighter by the way .

I run the baffled one and love it and there was a gain in power for me the stocker is restrictive on a sxr in my opinion.

The head pipe is the same ,the manifold isn't the sxr uses the 650 fp manifold
