    Bearings should be smooth and quiet. It should be free of cosmetic damage and rust. Rod end play should definitely be in spec for me to run.

    Ya that bracket is nice! I ended up using some thick rubber, close to 1/4, as a gasket with the holes undercut so the tubes where tight. And they are tight, I could pick up the empty hull with them.

    I'd imagine the hardest part of the midshaft is the inner hex. The outside profile is probably turned out pretty quick.     Una has a viper with a tpe in it. He says he didn't even align it just to make a point. I think it's been 2 years since he put them in. Philip Clemmons has a nuSplyne shaft in a DVX with TPE 1105. We shall see. I hope they hold up for the sake of the sport.
