no once foam gets wet its pretty much impossible to dry it without cutting the tray out. your best bet is to try and prevent water getting in.

an x2 doesnt stand a chance in sport spec against hx's and blasters. If you want to race x2s i suggest looking into the x2 specific class and build a ski that will be legal for that class.

pretty much. i have used mine a handful of times in extreme caution in the surf where u decide that starting the ski lanyard less is less risky then getting pummeled by the next set. keep the idle on the low side if you are worried about it running away. 99% it gets used to start the ski on...

that doesnt seem like enough prop for that motor. i pull more prop with a ported 760.

you are correct with your thinking. also by boring it assembled you insure concentricity between the bearing bores and the wear ring bore.

i drill out old mikuni seats for restrictors. they fit perfectly in 3/8 hose.

the kawi 1100 is much smaller in physical size then the yamaha 1100 and that barely fits in them. i dont think the stock yamaha exhaust would fit in the hull. also x2s barely float as it is let alone with a heavy 1100 in them. most reviews i have heard of people riding kawi 1100 swapped x2s...
