87 X2 with a 97 Yamaha 1100

Hey guys just checking to see if anyone here has ever swapped a Yamaha 1100 into a X2. I got an 87 X2 pretty cheap and was going to rebuild the 650 or do a swap. but I came across a 97 wave runner with a 1100 in it for cheaper then I could rebuild the 650. Wasn’t planning on doing a swap right away but this was a hell of a deal for the wave runner. Let me know thanks.

the kawi 1100 is much smaller in physical size then the yamaha 1100 and that barely fits in them. i dont think the stock yamaha exhaust would fit in the hull. also x2s barely float as it is let alone with a heavy 1100 in them. most reviews i have heard of people riding kawi 1100 swapped x2s said the weight ruined how they ride.
