assuming the tune/setup is absolutely perfect it is doable but will difficult to flatwater flip. off a boatwake should be pretty easy for even an average rider
we have a pretty good group of guys that ride all around CT/mass/RI. boat chase the CT river frequently and ride flatwater all over. theres a big group of guys that run buoyrs on the ct river in rocky hill every monday night too
most aftermarket hulls have a flat bulkhead unlike the recessed bulkhead of an oem yamaha. obviously it is much eaiser to manufacture the bulkhead this way. the spacer is simply to "create" the recess to allow the midshaft rubber to flex and not rub on the bulkhead...
its also junk now. idk what they changed but its terrible. one of my skis has new black molded in the tray that is completely destroyed with 35 hours on the ski
and yes it s longer then a regular wear ring. a normal setback pump the prop is mostly in the stator housing which sucks if you actually suck something up and do damage
i picked one up for a boat chaser ski. i havent gotten it on the water yet but the quality looks solid and for the money im not sure you can beat it for a 155. I like the full legth wear ring.
